Fikret Sebilcioğlu Made a Presentation on "Speak Up"

On May 23, 2018, Fikret Sebilcioğlu gave a speech at the panel titled “Reporting of Misconducts” organized by the Internal Investigation Working Group of Ethics and Reputation Society. Other speakers at the panel discussion sponsored by Philip Morris were Emre Çolak, Phillip Morris Compliance Management Director and Sinan Çamlık from KMPG Turkey.

As one of the most critical obstacles to the success of corporate ethics and compliance programs, the issue of speak-up was discussed in detail during the panel. While emphasizing that the most effective way of detecting irregularities is reporting them to the company by especially employees as well as customers, suppliers, competitors or even partners, measures to prevent the fear of retaliation for those who make reporting were also discussed.
