Sevgi Rıfatoğlu

Professional Experience and Expertise 

Sevgi Rıfatoğlu graduated from the Department of Economics (English) at Istanbul University in 2023. She started her career in the Audit Department at KPMG Türkiye in 2023. During her three years of experience in independent audit, she was involved in SOX internal control audits and global group reporting processes. Throughout her three years of audit experience, she worked on the examination of financial statements, business processes, and internal control systems across different industries, as well as risk assessment and the analysis of complex financial data.

In August 2026, Sevgi joined Cerebra’s Fraud Prevention, Investigation and Compliance Department as a Senior Consultant. She is actively involved in fraud investigation engagements related to allegations of fraud, corruption and financial misconduct. Her responsibilities include analysing electronic data, reviewing financial records and supporting documentation, investigating findings, and contributing to the preparation of forensic investigation reports.
