Cerebra Offers a Holistic Approach to Combating Fraud
CerebraCerebra Forensic & Integrity provides holistic fraud risk solutions in Türkiye, spanning fraud prevention and investigation, forensic accounting, corporate intelligence, and e-discovery. With its data-driven and technology-enabled approach, we support organizations in strengthening their internal controls, enhancing their ethical culture, and managing fraud risks most effectively.
As a Türkiye-based venture specializing in fraud prevention and investigation, Cerebra Forensic & Integrity delivers a comprehensive range of solutions backed by over 15 years of experience, sectoral expertise, and strong technological infrastructure. Its services span internal investigations, fraud investigations, corporate intelligence, forensic accounting, e-discovery, commercial disputes, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering.
Cerebra goes beyond merely uncovering fraud. It also designs preventive systems to minimize the financial and reputational losses that organizations may face. This approach not only strengthens internal control mechanisms but also supports the development of an ethical culture and responsible business conduct within organizations. In doing so, Cerebra contributes to building a more transparent, accountable, and sustainable business environment.
In this context, the “Occupational Fraud Perception Survey” conducted in collaboration with the Ethics and Reputation Society (TEİD) and carried out by independent research company Future Bright, aims to reveal how fraud risks are perceived in Türkiye’s business landscape and to identify the key dynamics shaping these risks.
The research adopts a holistic approach to analyze perceptions of fraud risk within organizations, the relationship between these risks and economic pressures as well as technological developments, the effectiveness of internal ethical environments, trust in internal control and whistleblowing mechanisms, and organizational capacity to combat fraud. It evaluates not only the existence of ethical principles and rules, but also how effectively these structures function in practice, how trustworthy they are perceived by employees, and how effective they are in preventing, detecting, and addressing fraud risks. Additionally, the study aims to measure perceptions regarding the impact of economic downturns, inflation, performance pressure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies in increasing or transforming fraud risks.
The findings are expected to make visible how the business world in Türkiye perceives fraud risks, to clearly highlight organizations’ strengths and areas for improvement in ethics, compliance, internal control, and fraud prevention, and to provide guidance for policies and practices aimed at enhancing organizational resilience.
Cerebra adopts the approach that fraud risk is not solely the responsibility of senior management or specific departments, and aims to extend awareness across all levels of organizations. A tangible reflection of this approach, the Cerebra Fraud Red Flag Project, was primarily designed as an interactive experience platform, integrated into internal training and awareness processes through its website. Participants encounter cards representing different fraud categories and real-life business scenarios; each card begins with a critical question that encourages participants to think and make decisions. The content provided after evaluation explains how the risk emerges, what warning signs exist, and how to respond in such situations—helping participants develop both awareness and the ability to take appropriate action.
Through this experience-based learning model, participants not only gain knowledge but also develop the ability to identify fraud risks early and take appropriate action. Supported by gamification elements, this approach transforms fraud from an abstract concept into concrete, relatable situations encountered in daily business life.

Meanwhile, Cerebra continues to gain recognition on an international scale with its expanding impact and innovative solutions. Its inclusion in the “Türkiye’s Fastest Growing 100 Companies” list by Inc. Türkiye Business Magazine—the local edition of Inc. 5000—stands as a strong indicator of its innovative approach and trust-based partnerships. While sustaining its growth in fraud investigations, forensic accounting, corporate intelligence, and risk management, Cerebra also continues to expand its impact through collaborations with key stakeholders in the Turkish market.
Nevertheless, Cerebra’s core focus remains unchanged: identifying fraud risks at an early stage, strengthening decision-making processes through data-driven analysis, and building corporate governance on more solid foundations. In this direction, Cerebra not only provides solutions for today’s risks but also adopts a sustainable approach that prepares organizations for the risks of tomorrow.
