About Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD)
Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), established in 2003 as a non-profit organization, operates with the mission of promoting the recognition, development, and implementation of best practices in corporate governance in Turkey.
Built on the principles of fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsibility, the corporate governance framework advocated by TKYD aims to serve as a guiding beacon across all sectors it influences. By establishing a communication network among the private sector, public entities, media, regulators, civil society organizations, and academia, TKYD endeavors to foster the advancement of corporate governance practices. TKYD is a signatory to the UN Global Compact and a member of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).
Cerebra’s Contribution to TKYD
Cerebra took part in the team that prepared the Family Business Management Guide in the Light of Corporate Governance Principles and the Corporate Governance Supplementary Book for Economic Journalism published by TKYD. In addition, Cerebra has published many articles on the TKYD website and magazine and has served as a speaker and trainer in numerous training programs.
Within the framework of the Anatolia Program carried out by TKYD, Cerebra contributed to the spread of corporate governance throughout the country by supporting seminars held in many cities as a speaker.
Cerebra managing partner Fikret Sebilcioğlu served as a member of the Board of Directors at TKYD for 3 terms between 2009-2014 and as a member of the Audit Committee for 2 terms between 2015-2018.
