Cerebra Forensic & Integrity Talks #11

Date: 9 June 2026 | Time: 16:00
Topic: ACFE Global Fraud Report 2026: Global Findings and a Roadmap for Companies

In this session, we will discuss the key findings of the Occupational Fraud 2024: A Report to the Nations, to be published by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The session will cover the global cost of fraud, common fraud typologies, concealment methods, the effectiveness of whistleblowing mechanisms, internal control weaknesses, behavioural red flags, collusion by multiple perpetrators, and technology-enabled fraud schemes. We will also evaluate how data analytics, continuous monitoring mechanisms, and AI-supported approaches can help companies detect fraud at an earlier stage.

The session will also address the legal dimension of fraud risk, including the legal framework of whistleblowing mechanisms, the proper structuring of internal investigations, preservation of evidence, lawful review of digital data, employee disciplinary processes, third-party bribery and conflict-of-interest risks, board oversight responsibilities, and post-fraud enforcement, reporting, and loss recovery processes.

Registration details will be announced shortly.
