Fikret Sebilcioğlu, Founder and CEO of Cerebra, has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye (SCC) during its 15th Ordinary General Assembly.
The General Assembly, held with strong participation, focused on the strategic priorities shaping the future of the Swedish-Turkish business community. During the meeting, the past term’s activities, financial statements, audit processes, and the roadmap for the upcoming period were reviewed.
Following the elections, Işıl Yalçın assumed the role of Chairperson of the SCC Board, while the Audit Committee was restructured. In this context, Fikret Sebilcioğlu’s appointment to the Audit Committee once again highlighted the importance of strong governance and effective oversight. The meeting also featured a keynote by Prof. Dr. Caner Bakır from Koç University, who shared insights on geopolitical risks and the evolving role of geoeconomic tools.
