Fikret Sebilcioğlu, CEO of Cerebra, joined BloombergHT’s Fokus program to discuss the key findings of the ACFE 2026 Global Fraud Report. The cost of fraud to the global and Turkish economies, as well as the measures that institutions should take, were discussed during the program.

Fikret Sebilcioğlu, Founder and CEO of Cerebra, was a guest on the Fokus program on BloombergHT, hosted by Alara Akgün.

During the program, the discussion focused on the striking findings of the ACFE 2026 Global Fraud Report, the impact of corporate fraud on both businesses and society, and the measures that should be taken to address these risks.

Sebilcioğlu noted that fraud-related losses in the global economy have reached $5.5 trillion annually.

Referring to a similar calculation for Türkiye, he stated that the economic cost of fraud is estimated at approximately $80 billion, which translates into a burden of around $930 per person.
