Internal Investigations in Practice from Legal and Forensic Accounting Perspectives
CerebraAt the event we organized in collaboration with KİAD and Paksoy, internal investigations were comprehensively addressed from the perspectives of forensic accounting, whistleblowing processes, and crisis management.
At the event titled “Internal Investigations in Practice from Legal and Forensic Accounting Perspectives,” which we organized in collaboration with KİAD – Kurum İçi Avukatlar Derneği and Paksoy, we had the opportunity to address the multidimensional nature of internal investigations from different perspectives.
Together with our distinguished speakers and participants, we discussed many critical topics ranging from lessons learned from real cases to the initial assessment of whistleblower reports, from evidence management to the strategic role of company lawyers during times of crisis.
In the first session titled “Internal Investigations: Real Mistakes, Real Lessons,” Fikret Sebilcioğlu, Gizem Taştemel Dinçkan, Serhat Tümüklü, Gülce Saydam Pehlivan, and Emre Kotil shared their experiences through concrete case examples.
Zeynep Sedef Çalın Gindyia, Cihan Altuntuğ, and C. Kerim Bayat highlighted key considerations in managing legal and compliance processes during the panel titled “Allegation, Investigation, Crisis: The Strategic Role of Corporate Counsel.” Dr. Yılmaz Argüden also contributed to the event with his valuable perspective.
Internal investigations continue to be not only a process of examining allegations, but also a strategic function in terms of risk management, safeguarding ethical culture, and strengthening corporate trust.
We would like to thank KİAD – Kurum İçi Avukatlar Derneği, the Paksoy team, all of our speakers, and the participants who showed great interest in the event.
